Amber Crystal Healing Qualities

Amber is believed to be a purifier, acting on the energetic, emotional and physical levels to transform negative or stagnant energies into clear usable frequencies. It is thought to help us integrate Light energy into the physical body and may be an excellent support for energetic healing.

Amber History and Uses

Amber is a fossilised resin from extinct coniferous trees. The word “electricity” is derived from the Greek name for it, electrum. This is explained by the fact that it can acquire an electric charge when rubbed.

This fossilised resin has been used for thousands of years in jewellery, amulets and ornaments.

Furthermore, in 1711, an entire room in the Royal Palace in Berlin was made of carved Amber.

It contains succinic acid, which has traditionally been used for its healing properties, thought to help boost the immune system, provide relief for teething babies, overcome depression and impotence in men.

Amber Geological Description

Amber is an organic material made up of fossilised natural botanic resins. It is a mixture of hydrocarbons with a hardness of 2 to 2.5. Baltic Amber was formed from the resins of pine trees 30 to 60 million years ago.
