Shaman Stones Crystal Healing Properties

Shaman stones, also called Moqui marbles, are wonderful stones to use for inner transformational work. They are thought to offer psychic protection for inner journeys or out of body travel and help make connection with one’s guides. They are used in pairs, one larger flatter male stone and one smaller round female stone, to balance the polarities of one’s energetic system and align and attune all of the chakras to facilitate inner harmony.

History and Uses

Also called Mochi Marbles, Moqui Balls, or Maqui Marbles, the name “Moqui” comes from the Hopi word for the dead. The Hopi people believe their ancestors come to earth at sunset to play with these marbles.

Geological Description

Shaman stones are sandstone concretions surrounded by a layer of ironstone and are found in Southern Utah USA. It is unsure how they were formed but it may have been under great pressure under the sea.
