Celestite Crystal Healing Properties:
Celestite stimulates the spiritual senses, enhancing inner vision and dream work. It brings a calm, centred and uplifted feeling into the emotional body. It helps one to feel safe and protected and can overcome fear or paranoia. Celestite is a crystal of choice for rooms that require deep serenity, particularly Therapy rooms, and bedrooms. It is great also for kids who are scared at night, or suffer from nightmares.
Celestite History and Uses:
Celestite, also known as Celestine, was named from the Greek word for celestial, referring to the likeness of it’s pale blue colour to the heavenly realms. It is usually found in shades of white, soft blue or colourless but can rarely be red, orange or green. Due to its strontium content it has been ground up and used to make red coloured fireworks. Celestite is a fragile stone and should be handled with care, do not keep it in direct sunlight or the colour will fade.
Celestite Geological Description:
Celestite is a strontium sulphate mineral with a hardness of 3 to 3.5. The most frequently found form is the blue-grey variety that forms in clusters and geodes. This is found in Madagascar.
Affirmation: I am a loving being in the fullness of serenity and inner truth, always in communion with my higher self, angels and spiritual guides.
