Sunset Aura Quartz Point

A Sunset Aura Quartz Point is a natural Clear Quartz point whose surface has been coated with metal such as Gold and Iridium to give it an iridescent metallic sheen. This rainbow coloured coating is permanently bonded with the Quartz.

You might be more familiar with Aqua Aura Quartz, that is subjected to a similar process but with different metals and therefore different colours as an end result.

There is little information regarding the healing properties of this fairly new product. I would suggest the rainbow colours will add vibrancy to the properties of Clear Quartz. Think of a Clear Quartz Point with a zest!

Quartz is a silicon dioxide mineral with a hardness of 7. Its crystal system is hexagonal which grows in a large variety of formations. Although the majority of Quartz is from Arkansas, Brazil and Madagascar it is one of the most abundant minerals on Earth. However, it can be found in almost every continent in the world. Crystal Quartz exhibits the property of piezoelectricity. As a result, this means it can transform mechanical energy (e.g. pressure) into electromagnetic energy and vice versa.
