Each of our gold pieces are micron plated between 2-3 microns. We have a select few more affordable pieces that are vermeil instead, which is explicitly noted in the description.
But Wait, What’s Micron Plating? Is it Gold?
Micron plating is the perfect balance of luxury & affordability.
A high-quality, layer of gold is electroplated onto .925 sterling silver, ensuring long-lasting wear, without breaking the bank. It is far more durable than vermeil or regular plated jewellery.
Not convinced? Before launching this collection, I personally wore one of our gold pendants with the gold link chain every day for four months straight.
I wore it in the shower, to bed, ocean, exercising etc. basically everything I tell our customers in store NOT to do!! I’ve been thrilled with the way the pendant & chain have held up. The chain has faded in colour ever so slightly but the pendant has retained its full colour!
If worn more conservatively, these pieces will definitely last many years to come.
