Clear Quartz Crystal Healing Properties
Clear Quartz may encourage clarity of thought and purpose in one’s heart and mind. It works on all levels of the energetic and physical bodies by aligning all the chakras.
It may amplify any energy with which it moves into resonance, including other stones. It constantly broadcasts that energy into the Earth’s electromagnetic field. This makes it an excellent stone to use for healing, manifestation or prayer work. Also, it helps to establish a strong, clear connection to higher guidance.
History and Uses
This crystal has been used as a healing tool since ancient times. In Shamanic practices Clear Quartz is referred to as the light-stone, an instrument of clairvoyance. Australian Aborigines and the Prairie Indians of North America traditionally used Quartz as a talisman for visionary work. The Navajo believed it to be Clear Quartz that first caused the Sun to cast its light upon the world.
The six-sided hexagonal shape of Quartz crystal points allows them to hold a programme or intention. That energy is then magnified and radiated out into the surrounding area.

Geological Description
Quartz is a silicon dioxide mineral with a hardness of 7. Its crystal system is hexagonal, which grows in a large variety of formations. Although the majority of Quartz is from Arkansas, Brazil and Madagascar it is one of the most abundant minerals on Earth. However, it can be found in almost every continent in the world.
Crystal Quartz exhibits the property of piezoelectricity. As a result, this means it can transform mechanical energy (e.g. pressure) into electromagnetic energy and vice versa.

Gem quality Peridot is relatively rare so it is considered a precious stone. Peridot is one of only two gemstones formed deep in the magma of the earth, it is brought to the surface through volcanic activity. Olivine can sometimes be found in pallasite meteorites.
