Shungite is only found in one place in the world. It gets its name from the village where it is found called Shunga, in the Karelia area of Russia. This stone is a rare, carbon-based, noncrystalline rock that looks similar to coal. Also, it has the ability to conduct electromagnetic and geothermal energy.
