Vanadinite is an uncommon Lead Chlorovanadate crystal, which gets its name from its Vanadium content. Its colour can be ruby red, orange, orange-red, yellow, yellow-brown or red-brown, in sparkling hexagonal crystal formations.

Traditionally, it was used to stimulate mental functioning, and it is thought to help those with writer’s block or whenever someone has a big workload and needs to get things done expediently. Sleeping with Vanadinite under your pillow may help you wake up feeling energised. Geological Description

Vanadinite is a mineral in the vanadate family, combining lead, vanadium, oxygen and chlorine. It has a hardness of 3 with a hexagonal crystal system. It is a relatively rare mineral and is sometimes found in the upper oxidised parts of lead deposits. Vanadinite is found in Morocco, New Mexico and Arizona in the USA.
